And then a voice speaks into his mind and gives him a race, a class, and role-playing-game appropriate clothing. Then the monsters come. And it’s all he can do to survive.

However, given the vast number of titles in the Compilation and the various setting changes introduced in the Remake project, I have researched and blended elements from both the original and the new series as much as possible. Please be aware that there may be lore inconsistencies or the inclusion of "headcanon" (original settings) to fill in the gaps.
