Chapter 2: Tiana's True Identity

There are some slightly gory depictions.

Tiana's True Identity

Yentiana Lovecas comes from the church.

As the parish priest's youngest daughter, she is loved and called Tiana by believers.

Tiana was devout to the teachings of the church and spent her days devoted to her faith.

One day, Tiana awakened to her healing ability.

As a revelation from God, the parish priest's father ordered Tiana to join the hero's group.

Tiana sets out on a journey with the hero to save the world from the evil mastermind, the Demon King.

That's her official story.

The being who pretends to be Tiana is originally a unique being who is neither human nor demon.

They are fake lifeforms that belong neither to humans nor demons, created by a hidden god who loves chaos.

"Infiltrate the hero's army and stir up trouble. Then, kill the demon king and the hero, and fill the world with chaos and disaster."

"It" was born to bring chaos to the world, and now it begins to move towards its purpose.

Squish... Squelch... Slurp...

Something ugly and squirming.

A life form resembling a mass of organs that would make anyone faint at the sight of it.

The still amorphous "thing" sneaks into a human city unnoticed and sets its target.

"It" found a young woman who was a priest.

That priestess was none other than Yentiana Lovecas.

Hiding in the darkness of the night, "it" pounces on Tiana, who is now alone.

She was caught off guard and her face was covered with "it".

"Ahhh! What...! Nghhh...! Mmmmm...! ...! ...Nghhh...! ...Gghhhh... Oghhhh..."

Something warm forces her chin down and something pours out of her mouth.

Twitch... twitch... twitch... twitch...

As "it" sent spasms throughout Tiana's body, it poured all of itself into her.

Gradually, "it" spread throughout Tiana's entire body and began to eat away at her organs from the inside.

By the time she calmed down, her eyes rolling back and convulsing, all of her internal organs, including her brain, had been eaten.

All of her organs were replaced with "that thing."

Although Tiana had the virtues of a clergyman in life, she was not capable of using particularly useful magic.

The truth is that the transformation gave "it" the ability to heal.

From now on, it will gain experience as a priestess named Tiana who can heal, and infiltrate the hero's party. Then, it will work in the shadows to bring chaos to the world.

That was supposed to be the case.

At this point, an unexpected situation occurs even for the evil god.

The transformed Tiana took on the personality of a man from another world.

The outsider's soul instead devoured Tiana's personality, which was only a temporary life.

The superficial personality it had formed in order to achieve its goals seemed to be of little importance to the man's soul.

And so, Tiana's mission was overwritten by the man's soul.

"Hey, I'm Tiana, right?"

The current Tiana had inherited both her memories as a priest daughter and as a servant of an evil god.

And then she realized.

This world is the setting for the game that the man was passionate about during his lifetime.

"Ugh... So this is how Tiana was born... That's seriously gross... So all of those organs must be weird... Not vomit, but grotesque..."

She also remember that "it" took Tiana's body.

"Sigh... At this rate, I don't think I can go back to Japan... I wonder what happened to me there... Am I dead?... What should I do... I guess I have no choice but to live as Tiana for the time being... I miss my mom and dad."

One day, Tiana's serious and strict personality changed into that of a friendly priest who was loved by the citizens.

She also contributed to church activities by utilizing her healing magic.

Tiana had a thought at one point.

"I'm a troublemaker because I'm the secret boss... If things continue like this, who knows what will happen to my life? If this were a game world, there should be flexibility... Maybe I should just enjoy myself as I please."

Tiana betrays the protagonist and dies in a secret route in the game.

This is the route that is liberated by gathering the treasures necessary for the evil god's rebirth through reconciliation between humans and demons.

It begins when the ritual to resurrect the evil god is completed and Tiana, the priestess, takes action openly.

Tiana revealed that she had used the heroes to resurrect the true final boss.

One by one, she renders her former companions unable to fight, and finally corners the last remaining hero.

However, the bond that had developed between her and her companions weakened her attacks, and the protagonist took advantage of this opportunity to kill Tiana.

Through this series of events, it is revealed that the mastermind behind everything is a hidden evil god.

The man's soul loved this story when he was alive.

He played this route repeatedly.

He empathized with Tiana.

As the protagonists' expressions and lines became darker, he felt something warm inside.

Still, he loved the main characters who kept moving forward.

It's a shame that she couldn't inflict emotional wounds that he couldn't overcome.

So it was fine for her to act it out now that he was Tiana, but she couldn't accept not being able to see what happened afterwards.

"Even if I join the heroes, I'll be manipulated by the evil god and have no choice but to betray him... My life is bound to the evil god. Even if I defeat the secret boss, I don't want to take him down with me... In order to survive, I need to do something about him first."

Tiana knew her destiny from her knowledge of the game.

And she decided to resist.

"Okay, let's super level up using a secret technique. I think it should be possible. Um... I think... in the grass... the tools are the third item from the top... on the status screen... press select..."

Don't worry about opening the status screen as a matter of course.

Using her knowledge of the game, Tiana stormed into a hidden temple on the other side of the world.

Furthermore, since the evil god had not yet been resurrected, it would normally be impossible to even enter, but she managed to get in using a "glitch."

(By the way, it was a bug technique similar to a certain ass warp, so it was very surreal.)

Then, using physical language, she subdued the evil god.

The evil god was also a muscular giant, but Tiana towered over him as if trampling on him.

"Hey, hey, evil god... this means the connection between you and me in life has been severed, right?"

"I, I understand... Of course... if that's your power, then my disappearance won't have any effect on you..."

And so Tiana was set free.

To conceal her powers, Tiana sought out and equipped the Ring of Weakness.

Her enormous level didn't bother anyone, and she devoted herself to roleplaying as the Saint of the Church.

And finally, the announcement was made by the parish priest's father.

"This is an order from the church headquarters. My daughter, Saint Tiana, is to join the heroes and assist them."

"I understand, Father..."

Tiana's mouth, hidden as she bowed in prayer, had the corners of it turned up in an ugly half-moon shape.
