Blue Wave Runner III

A black limousine stopped at a nearby building near on its entrance. Enthrail opened the limousine door, and walked out gracefully.

The building she entered was a five star grand restaurant. Inside, there were many high-ranking Japan economic elites, this even includes some politician.

Enthrail stopped walking at a nearby desk. That place was a for an attendance list for the guest that would come tonight.

She signed the paper with her phone number and signature. Then the men who was at the desk bowed and said, “Welcome, madam Enthrail. We have been waiting for you.”

Enthrail followed the man who was in the front of her. They were walking in the hallway. The Walls in the hallway had many pictures decorated, it was also painted red.

The floor was made of marbles. The designs were very fancy, with each tiles connected to each other that created an illusion of a tree branch.

The man in front of her stopped walking. Then he held a door knob, which he pulled the giant door. Inside, there were the guests.

Many of them wearing suits that can cost up to 50 to 100 Million Yen. Even the atmosphere had a smell of expensive cologne and perfumes.

Before the man closed the door, he said, “Please, enjoy your evening, Madam.”

Enthrail’s gaze towards the party in front of her. She also had business invitation that got in her work email.

She walked around, slips through the crowd. She saw many people who sat on the sofa with other rich woman. Even some rich woman stayed close with rich men. Which she thought, {How despicable.}

Enthrail then found the man, who sat alone in the table with one seat empty. She then went there, and looked at the man. She then said, “Are you Mr. Atomu?”

The man who had his face covered by the shadow of his hat, he replied, “Yes, that is me. Are you perhaps madam Enthrail?”

Enthrail just smiled and sat on the empty chair that was in the table. Then Atomu looked at one of the waiter and waved his hand.

The waiter went to the man and said, “Is there anything I can do, Sir?”

Atomu then said, “Give this lady a drink.”

The waiter then did a quick bow and replied, “Right away sir.”

When Enthrail saw the Waiter went away from their table. She then let her gaze focused on Atomu. She then said, “Is there anything why you called me here?”

Atomu took a sip of his expensive red wine, and then gently placed the wine glass on the table. He then said, “Are you perhaps familiar with your daughter?”

Enthrail then smirked and replied, “Daugther? As if I had one.”

Atomu gaze looked at Enthrail’s expression, who was solid and had no cracks. He then said, “is that so? I might have a great deal for your business.”

Enthrail expression changed to a more serious one. She then placed her hand in the table, and clasped at each other. She then said, “Let me hear it.”

Atomu smiled at the response given from Enthrail.

Sometime later. Both of them, Enthrail and Atomu, they talked about usual business stuff, which delighted Enthrail as a business woman.

Then Atomu said this from the word of his own mouth, “I have condition if you want to take this.”

Enthrail made small frown at the edge corner of her lips, and said, “Tell me the Price.”

Atomu then replied, “I want to Sponsor your daughter. If I’m correct, her name was Blue Alpine.”

He then put his hand in one of the pocket of his suit, and then pulled out a picture of a Blue haired girl with a smile. Beside that blue hair girl was none other then Enthrail Sky Blaze.

Enthrail frowned and said, “What are you going to do with this photo?”

Atomu pushed the photo towards Enthrail and replied, “Nothing. I probably going to use her since you can’t.”

Enthrail gave a moment of silence while greeting her teeth in her thought, {Just what is he thinking?}

She looked at Atomu’s expession, who was stayed calm and collected through out this ordeal talk with her. Then finally Atomu spoken up again and said, “I just wanted to have a contract with her.”

Enthrail suddenly had a goosebumps, which made her felt a crawl under her skin. Before she want to reply to Atomu, she hesitated.

She knew about her daughter, and also the cause she did to her. But, in her thoughts were, {Is this the correct decision? I don’t want to her to race forever like I did.}

Enthrail lightly shook her head to shake her negative thoughts, and finally gave a reply to Atomu, “You can, just don’t abuse her.”

Atomu gave chilling smile and said, “That is a deal then. I hope you can cooperate with us, Madam Enthrail.”

After that talk. Enthrail went outside of the building. She looked up at the night sky, which was dark. The stars in the sky glowed, showing their existence to everyone who can see them.

As she was staring at the night sky. The driver of her limousine saw her, and came nearby to her. He then said, “Madam, would you like to go home?”

Which Enthrail turned her head around to see the driver, and replied, “Yes, please.”

The limousine driver walked away to get the limousine ready, which was parked at the parking lot.

She then opened up her phone, and looked at the date. It was 18th April 2040, and the time was 20:05. She swiped up on the touch screen, which transitioned to the home screen.

She then tapped at the communication app. Which revealed her contacts. Enthrail had many contacts of her old friends and few cousins. She swiped down, and saw her daughter’s name.

There were no response from her at all, neither a single chat from her. Enthrail looked at it, felt empty and disgusted at the same time. She then muttered, “Just what have I been doing with my life to raise her like this?”

She pressed the power button of her phone, which it made it to sleep mode. Then she looked at the ring on her left hand, in the ring finger.

It gave remembrance of her husband who was still with her. She then muttered, “Did I fail my job as a mother?”

As much Enthrail did something bad to her daughter’s childhood, even still traumatic for her daughter to see her today. She didn’t had any idea how to fix it, or even their relationship as a pairing mother-daughter.

Around next day. 19th April 2040, 13:00.

Blue Alpine was in the team meeting room, which the team name was Spartan Team on the metallic sign. She looked at the piece of paper on the door. It had three people listed on them.

Their names were: Flourent Akebi, Shining Star, and Pale Light. Then Blue Alpine’s gaze focused on the lower right of the paper. It had a signature by the trainer of the team, which his name was Anko Miura.

She then thought, {Anko Miura… That is his name.}

Blue Alpine looked around the room. It had a white board in front of her. While the right side of the room had brown board which had pictures of the team.

She went to the brown board and looked at the pictures. There was also the three horse girl name described from the paper from the door.

The horse girl in the picture that had chestnut hair and Arylide Yellow pair of eyes, along with the piece paper above it. It which read as ‘Flourent Akebi’.

Then Blue Alpine’s gaze went to the next photo. This photo of the horse girl, she had cadet gray hair and golden brown eyes. Then she looked at the piece of paper above the picture, which was written ‘Shining Star’.

Blue Alpine gaze went to the final photo. This horse girl had gunmetal hair and navajo white eyes. Her gaze went to the piece paper above it, it was written ‘Pale Light’.

Then Blue Alpine thought, {Interesting…}

She then went to the front door of the room, and read the paper again. This time to see the type of the horse girl. She then expected what she had in mind, three of them were light types.

She then thought, {I’m curious of what Draft type horse girls. I’ve seen them in books as the hardest working horse girls since ancient times with their insane strength.}

Blue Alpine then sighed, and went to place her bag in the locker. As she was doing that, she heard a voice came from the door.

The person behind the door, which also opened the door. It was Flourent Akebi. Akebi looked at Blue Alpine with surprised and murmured, “Huh… Did, trainer just recruit some one to the team?”

Blue Alpine then locked eyes with Akebi. Then she just smiled to her and said, “Hi?”

Akebi went to the locker, and then replied, “Don’t be so stiff, we will have you a warm welcome here.”

She put her bag in the locker, and then closed its door. She then continued, “Some of us, might be annoying, while some don’t.”

Blue Alpine and Flourent Akebi talked with each other. Then someone that was hiding in the room, since the beginning of Blue Alpine looking around. It was Shining Star.

Shining Star formed a smirk on her lips, and then thought, {Time to catch the newbie in surprise!}

She then put an arm decoration on Blue Alpine’s left leg. Blue Alpine felt something on her leg. When Akebi looked at Blue Alpine’s expression, she knew where this was going to go.

Upon Blue Alpine looked down and saw the fake arm, she then muttered, “What was this supposed to be.”

She then grabbed the fake arm off her leg. When she straighten her body back, she felt something behind her. Then a cheerful voice came and said, “Well, how you do’in newbie?”

Blue Alpine felt surprised and made a slightly cute shriek. When she turned her head around, she saw Shining Star, who was holding her laughter.

Then Blue Alpine realised something, and thought, {Wait, how did she get here? Did she got here first before I came?}

Then she said, “You are… Shining Star, right?”

Which Shining Star made a ‘V’ sign on her right hand, with her index and middle finger move apart. She cheerfully replied, “Bingo! You got that correct. And, I also know you. You are Blue Alpine.”

Blue Alpine looked at her and does not seemed surprised. Until Flourent Akebi spoke up and said, “Anyway, we should prepare the room first before the trainer come here.”

Then Blue Alpine looked around the room, which was kind of dirty, slightly filled with dust. She then said, “Don’t you guys always use this room?”

Akebi shook her head, held both hand high while her palm facing flat up, and then replied, “Not really, unlike most teams.”

Then she continued, “We mostly use this room for welcoming party. Although, our team meeting room… Let’s say a lot of greenery and spacious.”

Blue Alpine put her right hand on her chin, and gave a thought, {Greenery and Spacious… Isn’t that in the wilderness.}

Then her eyes widened and continued, {Just how in the world-}

Akebi saw Blue Alpine’s expression, which cut off in the middle of her thought and said, “Its best if you asked him the reason. For me, I don’t know what goes through our trainer’s mind.”

After that small talk. Three of them cleaning up the room. Blue Alpine was cleaning up the walls, and at the edge where spider webs formed. She just hummed her favourite song that she had in her mind.

Shining Star wiping the table using a synthetic polymer cloth. She also slight coughed at the dust flew into her nose, and muttered, “This is why I hate cleaning without a mask!”

Flourent Akebi was using the same clothe material that Shining Star uses. She was wiping some small crevices in the room, that sometime had ants on them. She then sighed and muttered, “Seriously…”

This took around half an hour, which made the room spotless. Blue Alpine wiped the sweat on her forehead, and said, “We’re finally finished, this took a while.”

Then a knock came from the door, and said, “Excuse me.”

The door in the doorway was opened, it revealed Pale Light. She then looked at Blue Alpine with a soft gaze and said, “Oh my! I didn’t think we meet so quickly.”

Shining Star then pointed the broom at Pale Light, with an angry expression and shouted, “You bitch! Why did you come late?”
