  • Girls Who Wear Bluff — Bluff of Girls

A free-to-play mobile game that uses a simulation RPG system. Dresses with different rarities such as R, SR, and UR can be obtained from the gacha. (Example: R—[Sword That Cuts Down Evil] Tatewaki Hazuki.)

"Bluff" means putting on a front. A lie used to encourage oneself and face the harshness of reality.

  • Bluffer — Brâffer

Girls who have gained the power to fight enemies. They give form to their bluff—that is, the fantasies within themselves—and wear them as weapons in battle. Their methods of attack vary widely, including magic, swords, guns, and more.

If they use too much of their power, they will go mad and die through a phenomenon known as Flyout.

  • Phantasm Weapon — Phantasm Weapon

The weapons of the Bluffers. They are manifestations of their bluff—in other words, their fantasies—taking physical form. They can appear as things such as magic staffs or swords.

"Fantasy" refers to the lies Bluffers create in order to overcome their present circumstances and keep living in the here and now, while "fiction" refers to the lies humanity has accumulated that threaten to cover the entire world.

  • Anchor

The commanders of the Bluffers. "Anchor" means exactly what it sounds like: an anchor. In a world where the boundary between reality and fiction has become blurred, an Anchor is a fixed point firmly rooted in reality.

Anyone with the aptitude can become one, regardless of age or gender. Anchors have the ability to keep Bluffers tethered to reality and suppress their descent into madness. They can also heal the Bluffers' wounds, which is why they accompany them onto the battlefield.

They can temporarily borrow a Bluffer's power and use it to fight enemies.

Under normal circumstances, their primary duty is providing mental care for the Bluffers.

  • Bluffer Wearing — Bluffer Wearing

When an Anchor temporarily borrows the power of a Bluffer. This allows the Anchor to wield the Phantasm Weapon that the Bluffer normally uses.

Activation requires mutual understanding and a relationship of trust between the Anchor and the Bluffer.

Mastering this ability leads to Complete Synchronization. By deeply touching the Bluffer's fantasy, the Anchor does more than simply borrow the Bluffer's power; the collision of their respective egos produces a synergistic effect.

If it fails, both parties risk experiencing Flyout and dying.

  • Flyout — Flyout

When a Bluffer is consumed by the fantasy they wield and goes insane. Ninety-nine percent of Bluffers who reach this state will kill themselves with their own Phantasm Weapons. Wielding lies means that one's mind is gradually becoming detached from reality, and failing to control them properly can lead to Flyout. When this phenomenon occurs, the Bluffer's eyes turn red.

  • Fictional Invader — Fictional Invader

The enemies of humanity. Beings born from human lies. Some are wild animals, such as bears and birds, that have become ferocious, while others are fictional beings such as goblins and giants that have manifested in reality.

Because they are covered in Fictional Material, a substance harmful to the human body, it is dangerous for ordinary people to even approach them.

  • Usobuki Raika

A girl who looks to be around elementary or middle-school age. In her previous life, she was male. She always has dead-looking eyes. She lies as naturally as she breathes.

She remembers playing this game in her previous life. However, there was no heroine named "Usobuki Raika," and the story itself had changed slightly.

On the battlefield, she wears a business suit and attacks enemies with firearms.

She is exceptionally skilled at handling Phantasm Weapons, ranking among the very best. According to her, mastering lies is nothing difficult for a working adult who deals with them every day.

She secretly smokes. For now, Shota is the only person who knows about it.

Despite her childish appearance, she possesses a worldly and calculating perspective that allows her to see through people's troubles and guide them toward solutions.

  • Nakatsuka Shota

The Anchor who joined the Fox Squad. The protagonist of the game.

A friendly high-school boy with an approachable personality. He has a small but unusual talent for seeing through other people's lies.

He is highly sensitive and good at reading other people's emotions.

  • Tatewaki Hazuki

A black-haired kendo girl who fights with a Japanese sword. By middle school, she was skilled enough to lead her team to second place in a kendo team competition.

She holds high ideals and is strict with both herself and others. Because of her overly serious personality, people often kept their distance from her.

When she was struggling with her relationships with others and becoming increasingly frustrated, she was saved by one of Raika's lies.

  • Kazunomiya Mana

A cool girl with an expression that rarely changes. She has a talent for the sciences and is particularly fond of mathematics. She has a habit of thinking about everything through reason and logic, allowing her to make calm decisions without being swayed by emotion.

When Raika is unable to give orders, Mana frequently takes command of the squad in her place.

However, she is catastrophically bad at building relationships with other people. When it comes to romance in particular, she becomes even more hopeless than the average person.

  • Kibogaoka Hibari

An always-cheerful girl. When fighting, she wears a frilly outfit reminiscent of a magical girl and uses magic. However, her preferred fighting style is close-quarters combat, extending a blade from the tip of her staff.

The more one talks with her, the clearer it becomes that she hides a somewhat darker side beneath her cheerful exterior.

She and Victoria are childhood friends from the same hometown, and the way she talks with Victoria is much more casual than when she speaks with other people.

She does not like talking much about the past or her hometown.

  • Victoria von Leonora

A chuunibyou girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, one eye hidden behind an eyepatch. She attacks from the rear using high-powered magic.

Even in ordinary conversation, she constantly uses chuunibyou-style terminology, making it rather difficult to have a normal conversation with her.

She and Hibari are childhood friends from the same hometown, and when the two are alone together, Victoria lets her true self show more than usual.

She does not like talking much about the past or her hometown.

Bluff of Girls — First PV

The lies have finally exceeded their threshold and begun to overflow.

Fiction begins its invasion.

"In the early hours of this morning, a series of violent attacks occurred in Tokyo. Thirteen people have been killed, while thirty others sustained serious injuries. All of the victims reportedly had wounds resembling cuts inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the perpetrator remains unknown, and the investigation is considering the possibility of an organized attack."

—Thirteen unsolved violent attacks have occurred in Tokyo alone this week.

—Some are calling it the return of Jack the Ripper.

—According to eyewitness reports, the suspect was an enormous man as tall as a great tree...

—The population continues to flee Tokyo, causing disruptions to public transportation as well.

"The government has prohibited ordinary citizens from entering designated areas of Tokyo as part of its response to the 'Fictional Invasion' crisis. It has established the 'Fictional Countermeasures Headquarters' to oversee the Bluffers."

The girls don their own "bluffs" and stand against the harshness of reality.

"I am—the strongest!"

"Tatewaki Hazuki. With my convictions, I shall carve a path through this world."

"Makeup is the lie closest to a girl's heart, you know?"

"Bind the fiction. Deceive the truth until the very end. Phantasm Bullet, fire!"

A "bluff" is both a weapon and a poison. Having used their power too much, the girls are consumed by their own bluffs and meet their deaths in a state of madness.

They need an Anchor—you—to keep them tethered to reality.

"Fufu... Ahahahahaha! Oh, laws of the world! Now, I, the princess, shall destroy everything!"

"I have no need for salvation bestowed upon me by others. With my own ideals, I shall save the people."

"Ah—so the judgment has finally come."

Lead the girls and save the world from destruction.
