I woke up only to find a doppelgänger of my childhood self right in front of my eyes! To make matters worse, something that was definitely supposed to be there... was gone! Even the Dark Lord (lol) would be shocked by this turn of events. It’s one of those classic tropes you often see in fanfiction. Since Harry is the protagonist, the villains from the original series are described in a rather harsh light, but please remember that’s strictly because Harry is the narrator. Author’s Note: I have re-examined the lore of FINAL FANTASY VII for this work. However, given the vast number of titles in the Compilation and the various setting changes introduced in the Remake project, I have researched and blended elements from both the original and the new series as much as possible. Please be aware that there may be lore inconsistencies or the inclusion of "headcanon" (original settings) to fill in the gaps.
