Chapter 8: Conclusion
The place they planned for the street live was not far, as they had no specific goals or requirements. They found a convenient location for the new band members to experience the atmosphere.
In Japan, street performances are quite common. As long as they perform at the designated location and time, there will be no problems.
Of course, there are also people who disregard the rules and act recklessly.
Let's not dwell on that for now.
Along the way.
"Let me take some, please."
Nijika looked at Ishikawa Hayato, who was heavily laden, with concern, always feeling that he was overexerting himself. The items on him were so numerous that he looked like he was wearing a suit of armor.
While looking mighty and formidable, it also made people worried.
"It's fine, I can carry even more."
Ishikawa Hayato resisted introducing his pervert energy and casually replied.
Seeing that she couldn't persuade Ishikawa Hayato, Nijika, with a slightly helpless smile, looked at this somewhat handsome yet strange man.
"Hayato-kun, Ryo will continue to take advantage of you if this keeps up."
"She won't."
Ishikawa Hayato's voice was incredibly firm, his confident tone leaving no room for doubt.
Nijika, at a loss with him, could only move a little closer.
Ishikawa Hayato, carrying various instruments, knew very well that Nijika wasn't infatuated with him at this moment; she was just worried he couldn't handle it and was moving closer in case of an accident.
However, having a cheerful and gentle beautiful girl close by, while also catching a lovely and alluring scent, always made one's heart race.
He even had the fleeting thought of continuing to pretend to be a normal person, but it was just a moment.
Even if the path of a pervert was lonely, he had to walk it.
As he thought this, Ryo, who had just disappeared, quickly caught up. She held three cans of drinks. After getting closer, she handed one to Nijika.
Then she turned to Ishikawa Hayato, who was between the two, and said.
"Good luck."
She said, her expression unchanged, and slipped the drink into Ishikawa Hayato's pocket.
I'm sorry for doubting you for a split moment that you were a jerk.
Listening to Ryo open her drink with a 'pop,' Ishikawa Hayato silently apologized in his heart, while also wondering if he would run into her today? Will there be a fated opportunity today?”
Pervert outburst value is 70%
...
...Laughing with friends, searching for interesting things in the bustling streets, Kita Ikuyo, aimlessly strolling, was lost in her thoughts with other things.
Yesterday evening, she, as usual, followed in Ryo's footsteps to STARRY. There, she overheard Ryo and her friend talking about needing a guitarist.
To be clear, Kita Ikuyo wasn't eavesdropping. She just happened to be standing less than 4 meters from their conversation table, stretching her ears and coincidentally hearing it.
Meeting here was also a coincidence. She had seen Ryo come a few times, so she would come every day to look for Ryo.
Kita Ikuyo thought she was perfectly normal.
However, the important thing was, the band!
If she joined the band, she could get closer to Ryo.
"Kita-san... your expression is turning strange."
Her friend's reminder brought Kita back to her senses. Blushing, she quickly waved her hands in denial.
"Liar, It's not."
"Hehe, you have a boyfriend, don't you?"
Another friend chuckled mischievously and clung to her.
Kita Ikuyo, unable to escape the teasing, smiled awkwardly, "It's not about a boyfriend..."
The two friends beside her stared at her with teasing, sparkling eyes, clearly not believing her.
"It's really not!"
Kita Ikuyo, at a loss, could only half-concealingly say, "There is a senior I admire."
As she spoke, her gaze fell upon Ryo, who was holding a drink and moving through the crowd ahead. Beside her seemed to be a tall instrument transport robot.
Never mind the transport robot for now.
Ryo! Instruments! So much equipment!
Street live!
She unhesitatingly abandoned her two friends and began her righteous tailing.
"Tamako, Megumi, I have something to do for a bit, see you tomorrow~"
She waved her hand and followed without another word.
"Eh, eh? Kita-san?"
The two looked surprised at the suddenly departing Kita Ikuyo, blinked in confusion, then suddenly thought of something and showed a sly smile.
After school, in the evening when there was still plenty of time before dinner, the setting sun cast a richer glow on the road, and the constant flow of students made the sunlight as vibrant as the morning sun.
However, for Kita Ikuyo, who was trying to find someone, the passing students made her search much more difficult.
After almost losing track of them a few times, Kita Ikuyo saw the three stop at an open space near the station.
Ryo was there. She took the bass from the man who had his back to them and slung it over herself, while the man put down the megaphone and other items.
Ryo's friend opened the boxes, took out the drums inside, and began to assemble them.
The male also went up to help.
Kita Ikuyo had previously thought the man was just someone helping transport the instruments, but seeing their interactions, she realized it didn't seem to be the case; they appeared to be quite familiar with each other.
A sense of crisis!
Could he be approaching Ryo with the same intentions as me?
How infuriating!
Kita Ikuyo clenched her small fists.
Then she saw the man take out an electronic keyboard from the long bag he was carrying on his back.
Indeed!!
He must have targeted Ryo!
But after he took it out, Ryo and her friend stopped him.
However, Kita Ikuyo no longer cared about the situation over there. She circled around from the side, intending to see what the man looked like and observe their dynamic up close.
As Kita Ikuyo approached, she noticed that, for some reason, the man seemed to have had his back to her the entire time, and she hadn't seen his face.
But she was going to listen anyway, and it was perfectly normal for an audience member to get closer.
It wasn't until she was about 5 or 6 meters away from them that the man put away the electronic keyboard and walked to the side to set it down. It was then that Kita Ikuyo finally saw his face.
"Pervert!?"
Because of her extreme surprise, her disbelief, and how completely he didn't fit the pervert in her perception, Kita Ikuyo cried out...
...
To be honest, Ishikawa Hayato hadn't expected to actually reel in Kita Ikuyo. He had thought he might run into some talkative classmate, but this worked out just as well.
At this moment, Ryo and Nijika looked confusedly at the girl who suddenly pointed at Ishikawa Hayato and called him a Pervert.
She and Ishikawa Hayato were wearing the same school uniform; were they classmates?
Does this mean Ishikawa Hayato did something, or is he really a pervert!?
Although both of them felt Ishikawa Hayato was a good person, they couldn't help but feel a little nervous.
"Um, Hayato-kun, who is she?"
Nijika cautiously asked.
Ishikawa Hayato calmly nodded, not at all worried about Nijika's misunderstanding. In this moment that seemed to be heading towards chaos, he was perfectly serene.
"She's my classmate."
After Ishikawa Hayato finished speaking, he looked around.
He faced the nervousness of the two women in the band, Kita Ikuyo's worried expression with her hand over her mouth, and the curious gazes of the surrounding crowd, all under the square covered by fiery clouds.
Ishikawa Hayato spread his arms, as if embracing the world, and declared.
"Also, she's right, I am a pervert!"
"A pervert who loves everything, regardless of gender, age, whether it's organic or inorganic, its life form, chemical composition, physical properties, or even if it's not alive."
He spoke loudly and sincerely, completely disregarding the time, place, or the surrounding crowd.
In that moment, he became like the center of the world.
A few seconds later, the halted crowd began to flow again.
The three girls who participated in this performance stood frozen there. After a moment of awkwardness, Ryo calmly stroked her chin, her tone carrying a hint of doubt.
"Someone who loves everything in the world?"
"Correct!"
Ishikawa Hayato turned around, giving a thumbs up and a sparkling smile.
Yamada Ryo paused, then showed a slight smile that vanished just as quickly.
“Eh? Is that so?”
Kita Ikuyo’s comment seemed to confirm why Ishikawa Hayato was called a pervert—due to his exaggerated statement just now.
Nijika immediately breathed a sigh of relief. For a moment, she hadn't known what to do.
Although she had only known him for less than two days, she felt that Ishikawa Hayato’s every action exuded genuine sincerity, and he wasn't a bad person.
When that female classmate said those things, she had worried for a while whether Ishikawa Hayato had gotten into some trouble.
“Don’t scare me…”
She still complained softly.
“My apologies.”
Ishikawa Hayato scratched his head, smiling as he insincerely asked for forgiveness.
But then he became a bit more serious and said,
“However, if you call me a pervert, I’ll be very happy.”
After he finished speaking, the relaxed atmosphere suddenly stiffened. Amidst the constantly flowing crowd, the three lingering girls all had peculiar expressions on their faces.
The three looked at each other.
Nijika looked at Ishikawa Hayato in astonishment, then at the other two.
Yamada Ryo’s eyes widened slightly in surprise.
Kita Ikuyo looked annoyed, as if saying, 'What nonsense are you spouting in front of Ryo-senpai?'
However, a moment later, Yamada Ryo walked towards Ishikawa Hayato, a gentle smile appearing on her calm, unruffled face. To Ishikawa Hayato, this smile made her seem a bit more playful.
She extended her hand.
“Weirdo. If you call me that, I’ll be very happy.”
She spoke in a similar sentence structure. Miss Kita Ikuyo, who had been moving freely nearby, froze at this sight.
Ishikawa Hayato took her hand, accepting her goodwill.
“Weirdo.”
Yamada Ryo nodded in agreement and replied.
“Pervert.”
Nijika, sitting on a box, wailed and clutched her head.
“My band…”
Kita Ikuyo stared blankly at their clasped hands and murmured,
“How could he… how could he use such a method!”
