V3: Chapter 58: The Original Form of Miss Tentacle

The next second, Liang Di's agonizing screams abruptly ceased.

Everything around her fell silent. The others were also silent, watching Liang Di intently, observing any changes she might be undergoing.

At first, Liang Di only felt something strange in her body—an indescribable chill rising from her spine, as if something was stirring within her. She tried to ignore the feeling, but as time passed, the strangeness grew stronger until, at a certain moment, she suddenly realized that her body was beginning to change.

It was an indescribable pain; her body was being torn apart from the inside by some force.

Her skin began to become uneven, as if countless tiny hands were struggling inside, trying to break free of these constraints. Her limbs gradually lost their original shape, becoming soft and twisted, as if some unknown creature was awakening within her.

As the pain intensified, Liang Di's consciousness began to blur. She heard whispers from another world, the voice echoing in her ears, tempting her to give up resistance and accept this transformation. If it were the seductive voices from her previous illusions, Liang Di could resist them. But this time, for some reason, she found herself involuntarily drawn in, her eyes widening in a daze.

Her body, under this temptation, began to undergo even more astonishing changes.

The smooth skin on her back suddenly split open, revealing shocking fissures that opened like abysses, from which countless slender tentacles emerged.

These tentacles were initially soft, like seaweed in water, but soon they became tough and powerful, waving in the air as if they possessed their own consciousness.

Some tentacles were as thin as silk, swaying gently, while others were thick and powerful, coiling in the air like giant pythons. Their surfaces were covered with a viscous liquid, a nauseating green, venom gushing from the abyss, emitting a suffocating stench.

As the tentacles continued to grow, Liang Di's body gradually lost its human form.

Her head began to blur, her features contorted into a grotesque mess, as if forcibly kneaded together by some force. Her eyes, once sparkling with curiosity and passion, were now empty and eerie, like two bottomless, icy pools, exuding a chilling, malevolent aura.

In this terrifying transformation, Liang Di's consciousness was stripped away by some force. She could only watch helplessly as her body gradually transformed into a monster composed of tentacles.

She felt an unprecedented fear and despair, but her body was no longer under her control, possessed by some evil will.

This shouldn't be happening; it had never happened before.

What was happening now?

Damn it, damn it! Please change back quickly! If this continues, if I completely lose my mind, I'll hurt my sister Liang Lin! I can't hurt the person I love most!

Liang Di struggled desperately, but to no avail. Her consciousness grew increasingly blurred, and she felt herself being replaced by someone else.

Finally, when the last trace of human characteristics vanished from Liang Di's body, she had completely transformed into a monster composed of tentacles. Her body twisted in the air, her tentacles flailing wildly.

She exuded a suffocating aura of evil, making people afraid to approach.

Liang Lin's eyes widened, staring blankly at Liang Di before her.

"Liang... Liang Di."

She had never seen Liang Di's original form before, that inhuman shape. This was the first time Liang Lin had ever seen it. She looked no different from the monsters on the beach, or rather... basically identical, only slightly smaller.

Octaville also keenly sensed something was wrong.

Prescott was even more dumbfounded, a wave of regret washing over him.

"It's all my fault."

But now, the more important thing was to calm Liang Di, who had reverted to her original form.

However, Octaville could no longer see anything, her movements were hindered, and her eyes were covered with gauze.

Gladys reacted with lightning speed; she'd do anything as long as she wasn't forced to fight. So, she immediately pushed open the door and ran out, shouting for the other magicians to come and deal with the now-frenzied Liang Di.

Meanwhile, Prescott, left inside, silently picked up his magic wand.

He hadn't used it in a long time, hadn't fought in a long time. After all, he was the least fond of fighting, but now part of the blame was on him, and he had to deal with this mess himself.

Octaville also picked up her magic wand, but she couldn't bear to hurt Liang Di and hesitated. Judging from the sounds of the chaos around her, she could tell that much of the furniture was damaged.

But damage was damage; furniture could be bought back. Harming Liang Di's body would be a different story.

Liang Di seemed to have no intention of harming them, simply smashing things in the room.

The other magicians arrived quickly, and in less than a minute, a large group of magicians filed into the room, a dense mass of them, some even unable to squeeze in and standing outside.

"Lord Tower Master!"

Those around were still confused about what was happening.

How could tentacles enter the magic tower? Last time, tentacles had entered the magic tower and injured several magicians. Why were tentacles in again now? Were tentacles this rampant these days?

The crowd looked at Octaville, the Tower's Master, with bewilderment.

Octaville didn't know how to explain.

Liang Lin, snapping out of her daze, stepped forward, blocking the crowd with open arms.

"Don't act rashly! Don't use magic! Don't hurt... this tentacle!"

Everyone was stunned by Liang Lin's words.

Tentacles were monsters! How could they not harm them?

In desperation, Liang Lin shouted, "This is Liang Di! She accidentally took the wrong medicine and became like this. Don't act rashly! Don't hurt her!"

After hearing this, everyone realized what had happened.

Gladys had only been running outside, shouting "Tentacles!" as she ran, and no one knew what was going on, causing them unnecessary worry.
