V3: Chapter 59: Soothing

"Oh, it's Miss Liang Di..."

"But what's wrong with Miss Liang Di now?"

"Yeah, how did she turn into tentacles?"

Everyone was confused, exchanging glances and whispering amongst themselves.

Seeing that no one intended to harm Liang Di, Liang Lin finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'll soothe her, everyone can rest assured."

The crowd finally scattered like birds.

Liang Di was still extremely agitated, smashing and throwing furniture.

Liang Lin turned around, looking at the enormous Liang Di, and couldn't help but find it somewhat amusing.

She had never seen Liang Di's entire body covered in tentacles before. She looked much cuter than the tentacles on the beach, completely lacking their ferocious appearance.

Why had she never shown me before? She is as cute as a doll.

This was probably a case of beauty being in the eye of the beholder.

In Liang Lin's eyes, Liang Di in her tentacled state was adorable, incredibly lively, and innocent. However, to Liang Lin, those tentacles on the beach were disgusting, terrifying, and something she wanted to kill immediately.

"Liang Lin!"

Hilary, seeing her sister so close to the berserk Liang Di, couldn't help but worry. She called out to her and waved, signaling her to come closer.

"Don't get so close to her, you might hurt yourself. Wait until she calms down before taking her back. Don't get so close now."

Liang Lin turned to look at Liang Di.

She was so soft and cute, like a doll. How could she hurt me?

Liang Lin had probably spent too much time with the lovestruck Liang Di and had become lovestruck herself.

"Maybe if I just give her a gentle hug, she'll turn back to normal?"

Thinking this, Liang Lin actually mustered up her courage and took two steps forward, getting closer to Liang Di.

Should I hug her or not? The two tentacles must be so soft and fluffy now, so warm and gentle to hold.

Thinking this, Liang Lin's body reacted faster than her brain, gently embracing Liang Di.

As Liang Lin tightly hugged this enormous, incredibly large, furry tentacle, she felt as if the entire world before her was enveloped in its softness and warmth. The fine, dense fur of Liang Di's tentacle gently caressed Liang Lin's cheek, bringing an indescribable comfort, like a ray of sunshine in winter, tenderly dispelling the chill in Liang Lin's heart.

Liang Di's massive size almost filled Liang Lin's entire embrace, making her feel as if she were being embraced by a giant, gentle guardian angel.

This feeling of being enveloped made Liang Lin inexplicably feel safe and secure, assuring her that no matter how noisy the outside world was, as long as Liang Di was by her side, she could have her own little world.

Liang Lin took a deep breath. The air was filled with Liang Di's unique, fresh scent—the scent of childhood, the scent of security.

At that moment, Liang Lin felt as if she had returned to the carefree childhood she shared with Liang Di. All her worries and pressures vanished, leaving only this pure and beautiful feeling of happiness.

"Liang Di, you feel so warm."

The tentacle of Liang Di seemed to pause for a moment.

Those tentacles that had once waved wildly in the air, radiating an evil aura, began to undergo subtle changes. They were no longer as violent and disorderly as before, but gradually softened, as if guided by a mysterious force.

The viscous green liquid on the surface of the tentacles began to slowly recede, revealing a strange, almost transparent texture. They were undergoing a purification from the inside out.

As time passed, the shape of the tentacles also began to change.

They were no longer as twisted and ferocious as before, but gradually became smooth and elegant, seemingly mimicking some kind of life rhythm. The number of tentacles gradually decreased, and they began to merge, forming a more complex and intricate structure, as if rebuilding a completely new body.

In this wondrous transformation, a blurry figure gradually emerged from the center of the tentacles.

It was Liang Di.

Her body was being reconstructed in an incredible way. Her limbs began to separate from the tentacles, gradually regaining their human form. Her skin, though still retaining some of the tentacles' distinctive texture, had become soft and smooth, like newborn skin.

Liang Di's head also gradually became clearer; her features began to reshape, and her empty and eerie eyes slowly regained their luster. The space in her eyes, once filled with fear and despair, was now replaced by a newfound curiosity and hope.

It was as if she had awakened from a long dream and returned to this world.

As Liang Di's body gradually recovered, the air around her began to freshen. The suffocating, evil aura gradually dissipated, replaced by a warm and gentle atmosphere.

 "Ah, Liang Di!"

Liang Lin seemed very happy. She stepped forward, wanting to take Liang Di's arm, but Liang Di dodged away.

Liang Lin looked at her in confusion. The next second, Liang Ri suddenly burst into tears, tears streaming down her face. She pushed past Liang Lin and ran out without a word.

Liang Lin stood there, stunned. She didn't know what had happened.

Why Liang Di suddenly run away?

After a moment, her mind raced, and she came to a conclusion.

It must be because Liang Di was in too much pain. She had been so violent, smashing so much furniture. Her hands must have hurt so much, and she was crying from the pain.

Yes, she needed comforting. As her wife, I should go and comfort her.

(Furnitures: "Is no one going to speak up for us? I won't say a word until my lawyer arrives.")

Liang Lin also ran out.

However, after running out, Liang Di was nowhere to be seen.

"That girl, she really runs fast."

Octaville, who had just followed, also came out.

"Liang Lin, did Liang Di just run away? Was she crying as she ran? I think I heard her crying," Octaville asked.

"Yes."

Liang Lin responded simply.

"She's probably feeling unwell after eating that fruit. When we get back, I'll have the kitchen prepare some good food for her, and give her some medicine; that should help a lot."

Hearing this, Octaville shook her head.

"No, that's not it. She wasn't crying because of that."
